PERSONALITY Fierce, loyal, blunt as all hell, she doesn't mince words when she has something to say. She has lived with three temperamental brothers and an abusive father, she knows how to defend herself and how to get her voice heard. She's not beyond taking her brothers by the ear and sitting on them until they'll listen to her grievances. She has a bit of a temper of her own and tends to get loud when she's pissed off. ABOUT Nia is of Irish heritage, a nurse living in London. She comes from a traveller family and has a bit of a temper. Read more about his world. And some places in it. APPEARANCE Fairly tall but slim, she fits in with her brothers, dark hair with a touch of ginger, spattering of freckles, blue eyes and a cute smile, it's easy to see the resemblance. Her hair is wild, curly and thick but she tends to flatten it down with a straightening iron. She's not as battered as her brothers, but has a few impressive scars hidden away under her clothes. Not just nursing, but she is well capable of performing a street surgery if it comes to that. She was first trained by the wise woman in the caravan and later by practice and proper channels through schooling. She has untrained magic, but she's most interested in herbs and natural remedies rather than healing by magic. She has an uncanny ability to detect what ails a person, though. She can, if it comes to that, kick asses without a problem. But she tries to avoid this to the last moment. BACKGROUND Born into the traveller community, Nia was brought up with the remnants of the culture of his forefathers. While times got harder, so did the travellers. As their way of living was mostly outlawed at the start of the millennium, parts of the community turned completely to the life of crime. She was brought up to thinking that conflicts were dealt with fists and bread earned by thieving. She learned guns and fighting from a young age, not only because her community being hated and feared wherever they went but also because of the demonic influence that boomed in Ireland. Her community was one of the last to leave Ireland as the plagues and demons took over cities and towns. Now Ireland is a wasteland. The way of life as a traveller has pretty much disappeared as the roads have become less and less safe along the years. Eventually Nia broke out of the community due to conflicts with her father and moved to London with his brother. Her two brothers stayed with their ma and da, they live in a trailer community at the outskirts of London.
